Deputy Parliamentary Group Leader of the Jumhooree Party, Abdulla Riyaz has said that efforts are being carried out to frame him.
Abdulla Riyaz said that he has received information that drugs will be planted in his office or car. He said that he has shared the information with the Home Ministry and requested to investigate the issue.
Abdulla Riyaz said that he will take official action tomorrow sometime.
He said that he has always full conviction that he will face many challenges in politics.
However he said that he will not back down and will move forward.
Addressing accusations leveled against the former Defence Minister, Abdulla Riyaz said, the day will come when these charges are cleared. Noting that these are mere accusations, Riyaz said that Nazim will get the opportunity to prove his loyalty to the nation.
He said that the former Defence Minister is a very loyal person and he will not do anything that will compromise the national security.
