Jumhooree Party leader, Gasim Ibrahim has called all to make the happiness and joy of the Eid ul-Fitr permanent.
Speaking to Miadhu Daily, Gasim said that the two Eids of the Muslims comes in connection to two important acts of worship from the tenets of Islam and this shows that the Muslims should remain upon worship always.
He said it is very important to give special importance to reciting Quran, praying the night prayer and other similar acts of worship throughout the year.
Noting that Eid ul-Fitr was an occasion to help people in need and strengthen unity and friendships, Gasim highlighted that Eid encourages the establishment of harmonious familial and brotherly relations amongst us.
“We should spread the Muslim greeting of salam. We should greet out Muslim brothers with the Muslim greetings with joy. We should unite and should be honest to each other and remain sincere,” he said.
Gasim said Eid ul-Fitr was an opportunity to relations with our loved ones and renew our commitment to strengthen them.
He urged the people to strengthen their unity and solidarity, by cooperating with each other and showing compassion to one another.
