Gasim Ibrahim has said that he is ready to attend court if he is to be charged and prosecuted.
The leader of the Jumhooree Party, Gasim Ibrahim made this remark speaking at the joint rally of MDP and Jumhooree Party.
Gasim made this remark following the threats of the Prosecutor General to take action against him for calling the authorities to withdraw the charges against former President Mohamed Nasheed.
Gasim said that the authorities wont have to hand cuff him and take him in by force but rather he will go and attend the court hearings if he is summoned.
He said that democracy was introduced to Maldives because of the work commenced by a few people. He said that he is still upon the same resolve since it was first started in the year 1984.
