Thoddoo constituency MP Ibrahim Hassan has said that obstructing the businesses of Jumhooree Party leader Gasim Ibrahim and the income generated from those businesses is the obstruction of the future of the people of Maldives.
Speaking to Miadhu Daily, Ibrahim Hassan said that no one with an iota of love for the people of Maldives will obstruct the businesses of Gasim Ibrahim.
Ibrahim Hassan said that it is irrational to speak about bringing foreign investments to Maldives while obstructing the investments already in Maldives.
“Specially Gasim’s investment is of importance. Gasim uses the income he generates from them for philanthropy. While he is in debts, he is using them for the people,” he said.
He said that the businesses of Gasim Ibrahim generates millions of dollars of taxes to the state daily. He said that Gasim has also been paying the lease of all the leased land plots and islands without delay.
He is the philanthropist who assisted most Maldivians. He is the only individual who provides most services to Maldivians.
Gasim is dedicated to help building infrastructure and to improve the Maldivian way of life and help improve the well being. Thousands of Maldivians enjoy his generosity.
