President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has decided to meet the elderyly people.
The meeting held in this regard will be held tomorrow night at Hiriya School.
The government spokesperson Ibrahim Muaz Ali said the meeting will be held as an event.
He said that the President will meet the elderly and ask about their condition. After coming to power the President raised the allowance granted to the elderly from MVR 2000 to MVR 5000.
