Housing Minister Dr. Mohamed Muizz has said that vehicles will restricted from entering narrow streets of four areas of Male’ from the fifteenth of this month.
Housing Minister made this remark in a press conference held yesterday at the Housing Ministry.
The Housing Minister Dr. Muizz said that the restrictions would apply only to very narrow roads and those that had been susceptible to traffic mishaps.
In this regard, the Minister said that the implementation of this decision will be commenced within two weeks with the cooperation of the Transport Authority and the Maldives Police Service.
Minister Dr. Muizz stated that these changes would ensue in some one way roads being changed. He added that special parking zones will also be created under the effort.
