Thoddoo constituency MP Ibrahim Hassan has said that the people should be concerned regarding how the government is spending the state income.
Speaking at the “Maldivians, in defence of the constitution” rally, Ibrahim Hassan said that the government is spending a lot on various celebrations and fireworks.
Ibrahim Hassan said that spending US $ 20000 per night just for fireworks is just too much and the budget was not passed for fireworks.
Ibrahim Hassan called the govt to use the state budget for important and beneficial projects instead of wasting it on fireworks.
