Thoddoo constituency MP, Ibrahim Hassan said that the religious scholars should be protected and their honor should be preserved.
He said that he does not believe that the religion of islam is protected by the government today.
Proving this point, Ibrahim Hassan said that this was most evident in the music show held by the government at Galolhu Stadium.
“They made blasphemous remarks by pointing towards the sky,” he said.
Ibrahim Hassan said that the people will not tolerate the revilement upon religious scholars and shaykhs.
Ibrahim Hassan noted that oppression is forbidden and it is so much blameworthy that Allah forbade it even upon Himself.
However, he said that oppression in all its forms today is rampant in the society.
