“Maldivians in defence of the Constitution” mass rally to be held on Thursday night at the Alimas Carnival area as part of the campaign initiated by the Jumhooree Party.
Speaking to the press following the joint rally with MDP, the Deputy Leader of the Jumhooree Party, Ameen Ibrahim said that the discussions between the two parties will conclude and the two parties will sign an agreement on Thursday night.
“These discussions are very fruitful. The discussions are going very well. The agreement will be signed just to make this official,” he said.
Ameen said that the decision of the Adaalath Party also shows that they are interested to join. He welcomed and thanked the decision of the Adaalath Party.
“We respect the decision of the Adaalath Party. They play an important role in national causes,” he said.
Ameen also welcomed the decision of the union of Maldivian businessmen to join the activities.
