Deputy Leader of the Jumhooree Party, Dr. Hussein Rasheed has said that the violation of the basic rights of the people is realized when one’s own right is violated.
Dr. Hussein Rasheed said that the current constitution gives special importance to the preservation of individual rights.
He said that the constitution also noted that the Jumhooree Party has always been advocating for the rights of the people and the party will remain in that course.
“Even now we see the rights of many being violated. This should end. We, the Jumhooree Party are working to bring an end to this. With the help of Allah, we will succeed,” he said.
