Vice President of the Republic of Maldives Dr. Mohamed Jameel Ahmed has called on the new King of Saudi Arabia His Majesty Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and conveyed condolences of President Yameen, the people and the Government of Maldives to the members of the Saudi Royal Family and the brotherly people of Saudi Arabia.
The Vice President also congratulated the new King on his ascension to the throne.
In his remarks His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud expressed his heartfelt good wishes to the brotherly people of Maldives and recalled fondly his last visit to Maldives in February last year.
The Vice President is accompanied by the Minister at the President’s Office Mr. Abdullah Ameen, Minister of Islamic Affairs Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed and Ambassador-at-Large of the Foreign Ministry Mr. Abdullah Hameed.
