Deputy Leader of the Jumhooree Party, Ameen Ibrahim has said that the Jumhooree Party will not accept a government when the rights of the people are violated and when the authority of the constitution is constricted.
Ameen Ibrahim said that the party leader, Gasim Ibrahim is still upon the same resolve since the first day to establish a people’s government for the people. Therefore, he added that Gasim Ibrahim is ready to make any sacrifices necessary to uphold and protect the constitution.
Ameen Ibrahim said that the damages done to the businesses of Gasim Ibrahim are from the challenges he faced in the past when he stood firm upon the truth for the sake of the nation and the people. He said that the same is expected now.
Ameen said that Gasim Ibrahim will not be threatened by such tactics and he will not take even one step back regardless of the attacks done to his businesses.
“All of the people of Maldives are ready to stand up with the Jumhooree Party to protect the constitution,” he said.
Ameen said that Jumhooree Party will not stop regardless of the opposition until the party reaches its target.
