Adhaalath Party has stated that the President of the party, Sheikh Imran Abdulla was summoned to Maldives Police Service not in relation to any ongoing investigation.
Spokesperson of the Adhaalath Party, Sheikh Ali Zahir said that the President of Adhaalath Party went to the Police Headquarters when the Police invited him for a meeting and it was not for an interrogation.
Speaking to Miadhu Daily, Sheikh Imran said that the Police met him just to brief him regarding the state of the nation.
Sheikh Imran said that it is very important to dissipate information regarding the state of the nation and if it is done than there will be less things to be concerned about.
Sheikh Imran has been raising concern regarding the state of the nation in the social media from his official twitter account.
