President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has inaugurated Hajj Corporation which was incorporated under a Presidential Decree in 2013 to pave the way for all the citizen of Maldives to perform their Hajj with an affordable cost while safeguarding the savings of the Maldivians who are intending to perform Hajj and Umrah.
President Yameen inaugurated the corporation in a special ceremony held at Jen Hotel last night.
In last night’s ceremony, the President also inaugurated the Staff Scheme and Easy Scheme.
Staff Scheme is a scheme where the person has to join the membership of the corporation. Under the scheme an amount will be deducted each month from the salary.
Easy Scheme is the installment scheme where the applier priorly makes a payment each month to the corporation.
The President gave memorial plates to various companies who cooperated and helped the Hajj Corporation.
