Minister of Defence, Mohamed Nazim has said that he assures the people that he is with the nation and with President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom.
Minister Nazim made this remark in a tweet he posted on his official twitter account last night.
Nazim said that he is “Not fazed by last night's incident! Still serving confidently with the responsibilities assigned by the president.”
The Minister expressed his gratitude to all those who wished him well and four the support during these challenging time for him and his family.
He assured that he stands with the President and the country.
“I thank my well wishers 4 the support during these challenging times 4 me & my family. I assure that I stand with the president & country,” he tweeted.
Minister Nazim made this remark at a time Police raided his house two nights back.
Maldives Police service informed the media yesterday that they have not done anything to dishonor the Minister during the operation.
Government stated that the Police will reveal the details of the operation and the government has full trust to Minister Nazim.
