The Commissioner of Police, Hussain Waheed has met with the Commissioner of Police of the Western Australia Police, Karl O’Callaghan.
The meeting took place at the Shaheed Hussain Building and involved discussions on how to work together better and to develop the Maldives Police Service even further.
The Commissioner of Police, Hussain Waheed spoke at the meeting, stating that the Western Australia Police have assisted the MPS greatly in the past and thanked them.
He also highlighted some of the community outreach work being done by the MPS, especially aimed at youth, to make the Maldives a safer place.
The Commissioner also spoke about the work needed to be done to develop the MPS even further.
The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Mohammed Sadiq and the wife of the Commissioner of Police of the Western Australia Police
