Adhaalath Party has stated that the party will do whatever necessary in defence of the constitution of the republic of Maldives.
Speaking to Miadhu Daily, the spokesperson of the party, Ali Zahir said that Adhaalath Party is a party working to ensure the protection of the constitution and its preservation. He said that the party has worked in the forefront of protecting the constitution even in the past.
Ali Zahir said that the preservation of the constitution is not a political thing but it is a national obligation.
“It is the biggest national obligation. It is not restricted to a particular party or person. It is the obligation upon every individual of this nation,” he said.
Sheikh Imran Abdulla, the President of the Adhaalath Party, said that protecting and defending the constitution is an obligation upon every Maldivian and he is ready to make any sacrifices necessary in defence of the constitution.
In a tweet of the Adhaalath Party last night, they stated that they have been always upholding the constitution.
