Ambassador of the Republic of Maldives to the People’s Republic of China, Dr. Mohamed Faisal attends the Graduation Ceremony held on 05 January 2015 at Dalian Medical University.
During the two day visit to Dalian, Ambassador Faisal met with Ms. Yu Tao, Director of Dalian Foreign Affair Office and Mr. Han Qiang, Deputy Director of Dalian Foreign Affair Office, to enhance cooperation between Dalian City and the Maldives.
In his visit to Dalian Medical University, Ambassador Faisal called on Professor Wen Deliang, President of the University and discussed ways to extend collaboration between the University and the Maldives. During the meeting the President of the Dalian Medical University granted one scholarship to MaldivesEmbassy. The Ambassador thanked the President and Ms. Han Jihong, Deanof International Education, Dalian Medical University for facilitating the scholarship.
After the graduation ceremony Ambassador Faisal met and congratulated the 7 Maldivian students graduated from Dalian Medical University this year. The Ambassador also hosted a dinner for students studying in Dalian. At the dinner, Ambassador indicated the importance of maintaining the good discipline and upholding the good name of the country. 64 students participated in the dinner.
The Second Secretary of the Maldives Embassy in China, Mr. Mohamed Hashim accompanied the Ambassador during his two days visit to Dalian.
