Shaviyani Atoll Miladhoo Council has revealed that the Deputy President of the Council and another councilor have issued their resignation.
The President of the council, Abdulla Faiz informed Miadhu Daily that the Deputy President Hassan Fayaz and the councilor Mohamed Yasin resigned from their posts yesterday.
“We received Deputy President Fayaz and council member Mohamed Yaseen’s resignation letter today,” he said.
Abdulla Faiz said that the resignation letter did not disclose the reason for resignation except that they do not wish to remain in the council.
