Vice President Dr. Mohamed Jameel Ahmed has said that the Maldivian Education Sector will progress with the increase of the salaries of the teachers.
Vice President made this remark in his message on the start of the new academic year. He said that the teachers should take encouragement from one another with the change to their salaries and they should make more efforts to develop the education sector throughout the Maldives.
He said that there is no doubt that the changes to the teachers salaries will have its good results on the education sector.
The Vice President noted that the new methodology commenced this year will be an important foundation to develop the country economically and socially.
He said that it will help raise the educational standard of the students. The Vice President noted that if all work together then success will be achieved.
Vice President extended hopes that the academic new year will be a successful year for the education sector of Maldives.
