President Ibrahim Mohammed Solih has thanked the government of China for helping to evacuate Maldivians in Wuhan City.
He thanked the Chinese government in a tweet today. Chinese ambassador to the Maldives stated that Maldivians in China who wished to return and evacuation of Chinese tourists from Maldives is going on.
China helps Maldives various sectors, including infrastructure development and human development. In addition, China is the largest tourist source market for Maldives for the last 8 years. Hence, China contributes to the economic development of Maldives in various ways.
