Villa College has announced 5 programs to enhance teaching qualities.
In this regard, the announced programs are Diploma in Primary Teaching, Early Childhood Education Program, Post Graduate Diploma Program, Post Graduate Diploma of Teaching, Teaching English as a Second Language, Mathematics Teaching Program.
The rector of Villa College, Dr. Anwar said that the programs will be taught in both English and Dhivehi as there are teachers who have completed their teachers training course in Dhivehi.
He said that the teachers with advanced certificate will need a diploma in teaching with the changes brought to the salaries. And diploma holding teachers will need degree certificate.
Dr. Anwar said that Villa College is opening these courses aiming to help teachers to enhance their skills and teaching qualities.
