19 people have been arrested in Alif Dhaalu atoll Rahdhihga with alcohol and drugs.
Maldives Police Service stated that they were arrested in a special operation carried out by Mahibadhoo Police following a report.
Police searched the island with a court warrant and arrested 19 men with ages between 18 to 27. They were arrested at 1:30 last night.
Police said that they found bullet size suspected drugs and similar items with 2 bottles of alcohol.
The police said that 15 out of the 19 arrested showed positive for drug use.
