Ahmed Saud has been appointed as the Vice President of Jumhoory Party. Prior to the election, he was the registrar of JP.
In the 131st council meeting of the party held last night; former MP Hussen Mohammed was appointed as the chairman of the party’s appeal committee. In addition former MP Sheikh Moosa Nizar was appointed as the chair of the Islamic committee of the party.
Furthermore, the council also decided that JP will award party tickets in future elections through a primary.
JP’s Vice President position became vacant after the Vice President Dr.Abdullah Mausoom was appointed as the ambassador to Singapore.
