Thirteen police officers have completed a side mount dive training program. The program was held from 9th to 12th July at K.Maafushi.
Participants were given the certificates of completion by Assistant Commissioner of Police Ismail Naveen in a ceremony held at the K.Maafushi dive center on 12th July.
Speaking at the ceremony the assistant commissioner congratulated the participants and noted that it is important to dive regularly to improve diving skills.
The purpose of the training is to teach the participants to dive for long periods as it is required in many investigations.
