Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) has inaugurated its Civic Engineering Services.
The service was officially inaugurated by the Minister of Defence and National Security Colonel (retired) Mohamed Nazim.
Speaking at the event, Minister Nazim said that this will bring very good changes.
He said that the MNDF will provide all such services to all of the government institutions unlike in the past.
Minister Nazim said that equipment will now be easier to get with the inauguration of the service as a company. He said that this will relieve the service of the difficulties they earlier faced in getting the necessary equipment.
He said that the service can also seek foreign expert assistance when necessary easily. And now they can also make agreements with international companies for training and other matters.
