The MRI machine for the new hospital in Addu City has been brought today.
The machine was brought via an Antonov AN 124, one of the largest cargo planes in the world.
The plane came directly from Dubai and landed at Gan International Airport. The plane will depart from Gan at 1900 hours.
At the moment, machineries are being installed in Addu Hospital and according to the health ministry it will be opened by August.
The hospital will have facilities such as MRI and CT scan.
