While Gasim Ibrahim got the second place in the popular news makers list of Haveeru Online, more than 4.5 million people read news articles related to Gasim Ibrahim which is 16 percent of the readers. The newspaper revealed that 22252 people commented on those news articles.
Former President Mohamed Nasheed got the first in the popular newsmakers list with 57.6 percent. According to Haveeru Online, more than 16.3 million people read the news articles related to Nasheed and 75298 people commented on those news articles.
President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom’s name was on the third place in the list with 15.8 percent. More than 4.4 million people read news articles related to him and 19852 people commented on them.
Home Minister Umar Naseer got the fourth place and Vice President Dr. Mohamed Jameel Ahmed got the fifth place in the list.
