The last session of the 18th parliament will be held on Monday the 29th of this month.
The secretariat of the parliament did not reveal the agenda of the final session yet.
The members in the current parliament will reach the end of their term by the end of this month. The new parliament will take the oath of office on 28th of May.
The 19th parliament will begin its sessions in June. The ruling party MDP won 65 out of the 87 seats in the last election.
This is the first time a ruling party of the Maldives has won a super majority in the parliament.
