Building a mosque is not just building its structure- Sheikh Easa
Imam of Kuwait’s Central Mosque, Sheikh Easa al-Easa has stated that building a mosque is not just building its structure and beautifying it but rather it includes building individuals and societies as built by the noble Prophet of Islam.

Sheikh Easa made this remark at the ceremony held to open Zaid bin Thabit mosque of Vaavu atoll Keyodhoo.

The Imam said that if the people of Maldives and the Maldivian society are upon that methodology then they will be upon goodness.

Sheikh Easa said that the prophet did not leave his mosque after building it but he built a generation of believers in that mosque.

“It is those believers who were nurtured in that mosque who spread the religion throughout the world as a creed, as an economy, as a moral code, as social justice,” he said.

He said that the intent of building such mosques is to build a generation of Muslims who will rectify the world.

In addition to this Sheikh Easa spoke about the importance of strengthening the Islamic brotherhood among the Muslims. He said that it is very important to help one another in righteousness and forbid one another with regards to sins.

The Kuwaiti scholar donated US $ 300000 to the new mosque opened in Keyodhoo.
