Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed, the Minister of Islamic Affairs has said that the people deposit the most money at the Islamic Affairs Ministry.
Dr. Shaheem made this remark speaking at the ceremony held at the Islamic Center yesterday afternoon to hand over the documents of the Zakat fund donations to change the bone marrow of 34 patients.
Dr. Shaheem said that the largest number of people paid their Zakat this year. He said that 47 million Ruffiya were paid last year as Zakat/
He said that the people have been donating to other funds set up the Islamic Ministry to hold various religious programs.
The minister said that the ministry’s fund box are used to achieve the particular goal set for each donation box.
