Maldivian National Defence Force has stated that they did not discontinue security for former President Yameen.
According to MNDF the rumors on social media saying that MNDF has discontinued security for President Yameen are not true.
As per the constitution of the Maldives, it is obligatory for MNDF to provide security to former head of states.
