The parliament has scheduled the first sittings of this year for 7th February 2019.
The session will begin at 10:00 am and the government has declared that day a public holiday.
As per the constitution, President Ibrahim Mohammed Solih will address the parliament for the first time.
The parliament had the final session for 2018 on 15th December.
