Thoddoo constituency MP Ibrahim Hassan has said that the people will taste the benefits of the MVR 24.3 billion state budget only if it is implemented as proposed.
Ibrahim Hassan underscored the following of transparency when implementing the state budget. He said that there should no corruption in any form when implementing the budget.
“I appeal to make this budget a budget giving equal and just rights to poor and rich without making any distinction between them. I want this budget to be a budget which will bring an end to gang violence and killings,”
Ibrahim Hassan said that some islands are discrimination sometimes with no budget allocated for their development.
“I hope not to see that in the state budget of this year,” he said.
