Jumhoory Party will finalize the constituencies the party plans to contest in the upcoming parliamentary elections.
The party will hold a council meeting tonight at 9:00 pm. The main item on the agenda of the meeting is finalizing the report submitted to the party’s leader by a special committee in the party which was tasked with assessing the candidates which apply to run for parliament with ticket from JP.
According to the party 97 people applied for the party’s ticket.
It is expected that the party will contest for majority of the seats. Meanwhile, MDP has announced that they intend to run for 86 seats out of the 87 seats.
