Jumhooree Party leader, Gasim Ibrahim has said that peace and stability is one of the most importance factors that should be preserved in the nation to ensure that the rights of all are protected.
In a statement issued on the occasion of the 17th National Day of Maldives, Gasim said that it is important to implement equality and justice to preserve peace and stability of the nation.
Gasim extended the greetings of the 17th National Day to the people of Maldives. He said that the national heroes who sacrificed their flesh and blood for the sake of protecting the nation should be remembered on this day.
“I remember their courage and valour and their sacrifice. I remember there martyrdom. May Allah grant them the highest place in Paradise,” he said.
