Speaker of the parliament, Qasim Ibrahim has met with the governing council of Maldives National Association of Construction Industries.
The president of MNACI Abdullah Mohammed and other members of the governing council paid a courtesy call to the speaker of the parliament today. In the meeting, they discussed about the various challenges faced by the construction industry.
President of MNACI Abdullah Mohammed congratulated speaker Qasim and wished him well.
They also informed Qasim about the actions they have taken to improve the construction sector.
The construction industry received a lot criticism from the public after a bag of cement fell on a little girl from a construction site, which ended her life.
