Iruthisham Adam the youth minister of former President Yameen’s administration has decided to contest for Henveyru Dhekunu constituency.
Iruthisham announced her decision on twitter today. She tweeted saying that to follow the footsteps of her grandfather Haajeeedhuruge Dhon Seedhy, she has decided to contest for the Heveyru Dhekunu constituency in the upcoming parliamentary elections.
The current MP for Henveyru Dhekunu is Mohamed Abdul Kareem (Rukuma). Rukuma is an MDP member. However he lost the recent primary elections held by MDP. The primary was won by Andhun Hussein.
Iruthishaam joined the Jumhoory Party this week.
