Former Vice President Ahmed Adheeb has been taken back to Maafushi Jail.
Ahmed Adheeb was under house arrest after a surgery and then was taken back to jail. However, his conditioned worsened and he was admitted at IGMH until today. He was taken to Maafushi jail today.
According Maldives Police Service they have been cooperating with Maldives Correctional Service to transfer Adheeb back to jail.
Adheeb’s party MTD has been raising concerns for transferring him back to prison.
