Minister of Tourism Ahmed Adheeb has requested not to tarnish the image of Maldives by spreading lies regarding the Maldives.
Speaking at the press conference held at the President’s Office, Minister Adheeb said that some people spread lies regarding the situation that happened in Flyme aircraft claiming that there was a bomb in the air craft.
Adheeb said that those who make such claims should consider the damages that their speech and their call to boycott Maldives will cause.
In addition to this the Minister noted that the tourism is still booming even with these challenges.
