Home Minister Sheikh Imran have said that former vice president Ahmed Adheeb was taken back to jail because the doctors advised that he no longer required to be at home.
Imran made this statement on twitter earlier today. Imran said that even though Adheeb is in jail he will still get access to healthcare as required.
Imran said that the doctors advised to relocate Adheeb to a homely environment for two months and it has been more than two months since he has been home.
According to Maldives Correctional Service Adheeb is being kept in comfortable place.
