State Electric Company (STELCO) has stated that the company will begin developing their powerhouse at the industrial village.
Speaking at a ceremony held today, the MD of the company Hassan Mugny said that the company’s services are very much centralized and hence they decided to develop a powerhouse in the industrial village to decentralize their services.
He said that a 24 or a 16 megawatt generate will be installed at the power house. He said that they will also begin to install smart meters and prepaid meters this year.
Mugny also promised to make the company profitable and to start giving bonuses to the staffs next year.
