State Trading Organisation (STO) on Saturday has donated 1500 bio-medical equipment to Ministry of Health.
STO's Managing Director, Adam Azim handed over the equipment to Interim Minister of Health, Mohamed Nazim during a ceremony held at the Nasandhura Palace Hotel.
1,500 equipment worth of were handed over, which were brought into the country by STO under an agreement signed between the company and the Ministry. These include; Patient Monitors, IPM Monitors, ECG Machines and Vital Sign Monitors.
State Minister Hussein Rasheed said that this mega project of STO costs about 4 million US dollars.
STO stated that two more shipments will be arriving to Maldives soon.
