Deputy Parliamentary Group leader of the Jumhooree Party, Abdulla Riyaz has said that the Jumhooree Party makes democratic decisions which will benefit the people and the Maldivian nation.
Abdulla Riyaz made this remark speaking at the special ceremony which was held in Paradise Island Resort to celebrate the membership of the Madaveli constituency member Muaz Mohamed - the only member in the Peoples Majlis who did not represent any political party to Jumhooree Party.
Abdulla Riyaz said that Muaz was invited by the Jumhooree Party to join them but in the same time many other parties also kept inviting him.
“With all the invitations he went to meet the people of his constituency. After discussions with the people he came back and joined Jumhooree Party,” he said.
Abdulla Riyaz noted that the Jumhooree Party will always remain in the service of the people benefiting them.
“Our leader Gasim is the most inspiring leader in the Maldives who has spent a lot to develop the country and human resources,” he said.
