Former Vice President of the Maldives Dr.Mohammed Jameel Ahmed has decided to contest for Villimale constituency in the upcoming parliamentary elections. Dr.Jameel tweeted last night saying that the people of Villimale deserves better and that the work to ensure the development they deserve has been delayed for too long. He further said that the island should be developed since the nearby by capital Male’ and Hulhumale’ are being developed at a fast pace. Previously Dr.Jameel announced that he has interest in running for the parliament but did not reveal where he intended to run.
