The ruling coalition has held discussions regarding the upcoming parliamentary elections.
The discussions were held at HQ of JP M.Kunooz. JP’s leader Qasim Ibrahim and MDP’s President Nasheed took part in the discussions.
So far no details of the meeting has been revealed yet. If the coalition decides to compete in the election based on the agreement made prior to the presidential elections, MDP can compete for 35 seats. However according to some sources MDP intends to compete for 61 seats.
