MNDF has introduced special motorcycles for firefighters. The cycles were introduces during the Jarraf 2018 training exercise conducted by MNDF.
The training is conducted by MNDF targeting those who are involved in firefighting. The cycles were unveiled at a ceremony held in front of MNDF’s military clinic. Speaking at the ceremony, Chief of Defense Force Major General Ahmed Shiyam said that it is important to take precautions and identify possible causes of fire.
He said that the cycles introduced today will aid the firefighters to attend a scene quickly in a congested city like Male’.
A demonstration was shown as how the cycles can be used in case of a fire.
