Kashidhoo constituency MP, Faisal Naseem has said that the Kashidhoo school is in ruins and the school should be repaired as soon as possible.
Faisal stated that rain has been leaking from the roof and the roof has been so damaged that it is impossible to hold classes in the school.
Miadhu Daily was informed that the roof of one of the buildings of the school has been completely damaged and it has been years since the school has been making requests to repair it.
“The education ministry has been informed. They will be well informed of this problem. Classes should not be continued in that state. I don’t have to tell you the reason again. The ministry will know why very well. Therefore, my hope is that this matter will be looked at and this problem will be resolved as soon as possible,” he said.
Faisal Naseem requested the government not to make any distinctions between any of the islands when providing different services.
He said that every island will have demands and those demands should be listed and met considering their priority and importance.
