Former Defense Minister (Rtd.) Major General Moosa Ali Jaleel and MP Hussen Areef has joined JP.
After welcoming the two to JP, JP’s leader Qasim Ibrahim said that Moosa Ali Jaleel fought against foreign enemies, to defend Maldives in his young age and that he is a national hero. He said that it is an honor for JP to have a national hero in their ranks.
Speaking about MP Areef, Qasim said that he voiced against the oppression of President Yameen in the parliament and outside the parliament as well. He said that JP will be further strengthened to have a such a courageous person.
