MP Ahmed Rasheed of Isdhoo constituency and MP Mubeen of Bileydhoo constituency has joined JP today. Mubeen was elected to the parliament in a JP ticket.
In a ceremony held by JP for these two MPs, JP’s leader Qasim Ibrahim said that he hopes that all MPs who left JP will join JP and that JP will welcome those MPs.
Some parliament members who got elected to the parliament with a JP ticket later joined PPM. However some of them has now returned to JP after President Yameen lost the election.
